STAG HILL FARM
ABOUT US
Dan has been working in the biodynamic food industry for over 12 years. His first introduction to biodynamically farmed land was at Preston Farm and Winery in Healdsburg, CA.
While making wine, cider and olive oil there, Dan also got to work with the animals and vegetables, started making biodynamic preparations and realized his true passion was Agriculture. For two years he helped another vineyard Eco Terrreno diversify their winefarm, developing a vegetable and animal program while they began building a new restaurant in San Francisco, Lyon and Swan.
After the pandemic, Dan decided to return to his roots and bring his biodynamic farming knowledge from California to Southeast Pennsylvania; he started Stag Hill Farm to begin market gardening and growing herbs and making herbal tinctures. He is keen to help people learn how to grow their own food, supplement their health with herbs, and sharing recipes that focus on the crops we grow.
Stag Hill Farm is nestled atop the rolling hills of Warwick Township, east of Elverson. Our farm organism consists of vegetables, orchards, laying hens, bees and herbs. We respect and care for the land and make quality compost to feed the soil.
